This Privacy Policy describes how Charles Bosworth and Bosworth Media Group ("we," "us," or "our") collect, use, and protect information obtained through charlesbosworth.com and any related communications (collectively, the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Policy. This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number when you submit a contact form.
  • The content of messages you send through the Site.
  • Information you provide when scheduling a call via Calendly (governed by Calendly's own privacy policy).

We do not collect payment information, create user accounts, or require registration to use the Site.

We may also collect non-personal technical data automatically, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited, through standard web server logs and analytics tools (such as Umami Analytics, which is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or track personal data).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry or request.
  • Schedule and conduct professional consultations or calls.
  • Communicate with you about potential professional engagements.
  • Improve the content and functionality of the Site.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

The Site uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Web3Forms — processes contact form submissions and delivers them to our email inbox. Web3Forms does not store your data beyond delivery.
  • Calendly — used for scheduling calls. If you book a call, Calendly's Privacy Policy applies to data you provide during that process.
  • Umami Analytics — a privacy-first analytics platform that collects anonymous, aggregated usage data. No cookies are set, and no personal data is collected.
  • Amazon CloudFront (AWS) — used to serve media files (audio, images) hosted on our CDN. AWS may log standard request data per their privacy policy.

4. Cookies

This Site does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our analytics provider (Umami) is cookieless. Some third-party services linked from this Site (such as Calendly) may set their own cookies when you interact with them.

5. Audio Content

Audio files available on this Site are provided for professional portfolio purposes only. All recordings are the intellectual property of Charles Bosworth / Bosworth Media Group or are used with permission. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any audio content is prohibited.

6. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions in our email inbox for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain professional records. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us directly.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. All data transmitted through the Site's contact form is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

This Site is intended for professional audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
